I found this image on a blog while surfing the net, and couldn’t help but chuckle at the irony.  If you aren’t familiar with this object, it is the Valentine To Times Square created by Gage/Clemenceau Architects in 2009.  It was constructed of stainless steel latticework, interior DuPont Corian shelving intricately detailed with recessed and CNC cut heart shapes, and a slew of color changing LEDs; gaudy to say the least.  But where is it now; some random side yard in Queens!?  Who the hell knows.  Makes you wonder where all the other architectural installations end up.
